After some of the paint peeled off inside the microwave, a colleague of mine used paint primer to fix it. Problem is that repair men on the internet say to only use enamel paint, and on the paint primer spray can it says not to use it on hot surfaces. Is it dangerous to use that microwave now? I'm afraid the primer may be expelling substances into the food, and the area where it was applied has taken a burnt appearance.
