When I push the start button you hear the click and the timer runs but it does not turn on.

you have to see if the transformer has voltage going to it if not it is the control board. if it does then it is on the high voltage side which involes a transformer, diode, mag tube, and capacitor let me know

Hi Jovifi

Most likely the problem with your microwave is a bad secondary interlock switch (#1446, the lower one on the break down diagram).

- The part number for the new switch AP2024337

- Here are the break down diagrams for the GE microwave Model JVM239WV01
