Microwave ovem just hums
Model Number: 5658944780 Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
My Kenmore Micro oven Just Makes a Humming noise When i turn it on.
The light comes on and the fan runs and the turntable goes around.The noise is pretty loud .I need help. Ads By Google Related Models

Very likely the problem is a bad high voltage diode and/or magnetron. Unfortunately the magnetron for this model is no longer available. Looks like it's a time for a new microwave. The good news is that a new microwave will probably cost you less than parts for this old monster.
