I have a Sanyo Microwave manufactured in 1987. My elder aunt gave it to me in the mid-1990s, and I have used it on and off for a total of 5 years. The unit has never been altered-opened-services since it was purchase by my aunt. It has been stored in my attic for about 4 years or maybe longer, but it works like a top. Should I be using it? Someone told me that it could go bad and release radiation that could be unhealthy (although it works like the day it was purchased). Anyone have any thoughts on this question?
