Hi, I could use some help with a GE spacesaver JVM 1660. The unit is making a crackling noise when it heats, please note that it still does heat, and the display tends to flash in accordance with the crackling noise. I popped the control panel off and there is a slightly burnt resistor located at the rear bottom left on the backside of the control panel. My question is will replacing this part solve my problems or is this indicative of other issues. And of course, I then need that part, the numbers I pulled off of it are DE 26-20155B and SLV-1350U(P). I work on genetic analyzers for a living and would feel pretty stupid if I couldn't fix a microwave!
