Default Micro is dead
Model Number: GLMV168KS4   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 1 - 5 years

Our microwave is dead. It appears to not have any power to it, there is power though. My nephew had made microwave popcorn and decided to recook the unpopped kernals. I am not sure how long he timed it for, unfortunately it was too long. Any idea what has happened? Is it posible to repair it? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joni

The microwave is very dangerous appliance due to high voltage inside. You have to know all major safety rules to work with the microwave. If you do, let me know and I'll guide you through the troubleshooting. If you not sure it's better to call a certified technician to do it for you.

Gene.
