The door switch is so sensitive that, as it runs, the microwave stops or, on occasion keeps running but does not heat anything. Is it the latch and if so what particular part can be replaced?

Remove the top grille, open the control panel and check the door switches while the door is closed and open.

The problem can be a bad switch, a bad door latch or a bad interlock - #13 on the diagram.
