My microwave vent fan just stopped working. Can I run the microwave without this on and is there a way that I can troubleshoot it and possibly fix it myself?

Hello,

This would depend on the model and serial of the microwave. On some units the vent fan is the cooling fan for the mag, if this is the case than no.
