Model Number: KHMS2040W Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: Less than 1 year
I recently purchased a Kitchenaid microhood to be installed inside a cabinet above my Kitchenaid double oven. We do not need the "hood" part of the unit, is it possible to remove the plate & parts without impacting the microwave operation? It is causing the microwave to sit about an inch higher and the gap will need to be covered in the cabinet, which is a lot harder than removing the parts.
