The door release button on my Panasonic Microwave is wobbly and sometimes requires manual opening of the door while engaging the release button. When I first bought this unit all that was needed to open the coor was to engage the button and it easily opened. When new the release button was firm and depressed evenly to the rear. It now feels as if the spring or whatever mechanism is used behind the release button is loose or worn causing this difficult to open problem. The door and panel that it sits in is clean and not the cause of the problem. The oven still works properly. Is this a curable problem or is it unsafe to attempt to fix? The unit was manurfactured in June of 2005 and marketed as an Inverter model. Thanks for your help!
