I love my microwave! However, the part that the latch pushes to unlatch the door is broken (inside the unit). I cannot open the door! A friend who is a mechanic and electrician looked at it. The plastic part that the latch hits to activate the upward motion of the door locks busted off an "ear". I cannot believe that I have to throw this machine away due to a small plastic part and WHY did they make it this way?? Obviously I don't want to put more money into repairing it than it's worth. Can I get a new part? Thanks.
