Over the stove type. just out of the warrenty by a couple months. Heard a loud pop followed by that electrical burn smell. The turntable has stopped working but everything else seems to work ok, can warm up drinks and cook as long as you don't need the turntable. Cannot get the exact model number to come up on the GE site. All the same except the "DN" comes up as "DM". The breakdown looks the same but I know what a differece that can make. Just wondered if opening this up to get to the turntable motor is something a mechanically inclinded person can do or does it need professional attention. It looks like motors run about $25.00. does anyone have some good advice or experience doing this repair. Thanks for the advice anyone can give me.
