Our microwave stopped working a week ago. front panel just went blank. So...i went on youtube and found a repair video. I checked a few things and found out the flame sensor was not working (did this with a continuity check of the sensor). I then bridged the censor with a paper clip and voila...it worked. I ordered a new part from you guys and got it the next day. Wow!!!I installed it and the micro worked fine for a week. Today it did the same thing. Just went blank. I tested the newly installed sensor and it too is dysfunctional. So i ordered another one (under warranty - thanks!) and will install it in a day or two. My question....why does it keep popping this sensor? all we do is warm food and pop popcorn. Both times it has gone out its been when its not even in use. We leave for work, come home and its off. Second question, is it possible to permanenetly bridge this sensor and hardwire it out? We dont cook in it ever so why do we even need it?
Thansk for any guidance you can give me.
