While heating with the microwave the unit went dead. No lights in the display, will not power up.
This model is a stove microwave combination.
I believe a fuse may have blown for the microwave. The stove is operating.
Where would I find the microwave fuse?
Do I have to pull the unit away from the wall?

You will need to remove the outer panel to the microwave to access the main fuse.

From the front or the back?
Does the microwave need to be removed from the rack?

The rack will probably interfere somewhat with the removal of the cabinet cover. It wraps around the top of the microwave, and some of the screws that hold it in on (4 to 6 of them) are accessed on the bottom edges of the unit.

It isn't incredibly heavy; but the uneven weight of the microwave makes it awkward to handle. It's agood idea to get help with it. The fuse wilbe found in line with the power cord.

So just so I understand, I need to remove the top where the vent fan is and the microwae completely?

Yes. Otherwise you'll just bend the cover out of shape.
