[FONT='Times New Roman','serif']When the door opening button is depressed on my Thermador Microwave Oven (Model 16-10-623) the door latch does not always disengage to allow the door to open. It feels like the door opening button cannot be adequately depressed and therefore the latch does not disengage. The "MBY Parts List" is not clear on what part the Door Opening Button interfaces with to allow the door to open when the door opening button is depressed. I assume the "Door Opening Bracket" (part #42 on page 7 of the Parts List) is engaged by the the "Door Hook (part #10 on page 7 of the Parts List) when the door opening button (part #2 on page 9 of the Parts List) is depressed. If I am correct in my assumptions, which of these three items (#42, #10, or #2) is the most likely to fail due to use? If the door opening button requires replacement, what is the part # (the drawing and parts list do not coincide as part #2 of the exploded view is called out as a Faraday shield which is not numbered in the exploded drawing and no part # for the door opening button is listed.)[/font]
