Model Number: SF330PERN6 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
My natural gas oven cooktop is working great. When I turn the oven on the, pilot ignites a blue flame. However the oven burner (near the pilot) won't come on. I smell a little gas, but not a ton. I'm speculating that the burner is not getting gas, but I'm not sure. What's a way to safely check if the burner is flowing gas. Assuming it's not, what's a typical cause? Should I replace the safety valve? If the burner is getting gas, then I have an ignitor and pilot failure right? Thanks.
