microwave glass broken - whirlpool

I woke up this morning to find the glass on my microwave door shattered. The microwave is an over the stove hood and microwave combination. I don't know how to get the door dis-assembled to get the glass out. Does anyone know how to do that? Will regular glass work as a replacment?
