Our Thermador microwave is having problems. The  turntable sometimes goes around and/or goes the wrong way. It powers on intermittently. Originally, we were going to replace the push button that opens the door because it was broken, but in the meantime, we are experiencing these other electrical type problems. I know that we can buy the control module for the door (called an Escutcheon assembly, part number AP2837532). We would like to try this before replacing the whole unit (it is a built-in). My questions are: Does it sound like this could solve the problem? And, where can I find instructions on replacing that part? It looks like a module that simply pops on and off, but I am not certain. THanks!
