I am trying to order a replacement part for model #MH6150XLQ0 Whirlpool built-in microwave. The original grille vent installs with a few screws above the microwave door. The part # AP3855006, $44.88 was recommended as a replacement, but no information was available for how the part is installed.

Can you confirm that the part installs with a few small screws????

Based on your information AP3855006 is a white colored upper vent trim.

It is a direct replacement part for the existing trim on your unit, and will mount to the cabinet with screws on the top and tabs on the bottom.
