I am working on an older Whirlpool microwave/oven. The oven works fine, but the microwave does nothing and the screen is blank. Any suggestions as to what to check. Thank you.

Mike,

This is the Tech Data Sheet for the microwave.

Of course, you will need to varify, that you have Voltage to the M/W from the oven terminal block first.

I normally do not reccomend a DIY'r repair a microwave, due to the High Voltage components and possible Shock hazards involved, if you're not careful.

Just follow the step by step checks on the latter part of the tech sheet.

Good Luck,
