Model Number: YGH7145XFB1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi ..Our Microwave a Whirlpool Model # YGH7145xFB1 had a small fire -A potatoe burning- Micro Waving a potatoe of all things!... I did put out the fire instantly with a wet dish clothe but now the unit it is dead.
I have cleaned it up inside and all looks well. I have taken it apart, and where the flames/ heat went through some small preforated holes in the left corner of the ceiling, there is a small 'thermostat' right above on the outside of the metal oven. On itthis written:- C37TA -Z109- N165- Is this some sort of flame or smoke sensor that would shut it down like this?
