Model Number: MMV4205BAQ Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Oven died completely, no display, fuses ok, checked components using the provided tech sheet, only problem I find is diode coming off of cap.....I get no continuity forward or reverse, and the same with the new diode I purchased, any ideas please

Found the problem, There is an overload located at the top of the cabinet that must carry quite the current, one of the terminal ends was melted. This shuts down power to basically everything. Need to totally remove outer skin of unit and its located under panel near the lamp.
