Microwave Buzzes and smells but no heat
Model Number: 665.61622100 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
we have this hood unit all else works timer lights etc but it buzzes loudly and smells bad like wire burning. Otherwise the unit is good. I hate to throw things away and it's not really old. I had read maybe magnetron and maybe diode. Looking to fix this myself. neighbor is an electrician who volunteered to help. Does anybody have input at what this could be? Thank you.
