That other part beside the probe sensor is the thermostat as I stated earlier, which bascially checks the overall temp.

Can that thermostat cause the error???

It's possible but doubtful. I would think the porbe sensor or the control board itself, have you checked the wires from the boardto sensor?

Yes, no shorts or opens on the wires. Thanks for your help. One last question, I did unplug and inspect the teminals on the Gas/Humidity sensor, and pluged it back in. It is a small round item with 6 prongs, and can plug in either way(180 deg). It still self checks OK, is there a right or wrong way to plug it in. I know it's not the problem, just curious.
