Model Number: KCMS135H Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi, I just bought a new control panel from AppliancePartsPros which comes with the touch panel (key membrane) sealed into it.
My problem is that the ribbon cable that is supposed to plug into the power control module sub assembly (AP3034037) is different than the ribbon cable on my old control panel. The main difference is that there is one less conductor in the new cable. It is also narrower and the holes that are punched through it don't line up with the prongs in the blue plastic piece that is supposed to hold the cable in the socket. So... can I still use this control panel somehow? Apparently the control panel module is not longer available, so I'm out of luck if I can't. Thanks for the help! Ads By Google Related Models |

What is the part number of the control panel you purchased?
Gene.
