Microwave Starts,Hums,Blows Fuse in 2 seconds
Model Number: JE1590 Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
Last night, started microwave, I immediatley heard a crackling type noise and unit went dead.
Fuse was blown, so I replaced and Convection portion of oven works fine. But whenever I start Microwave portion, I get a hum and within 1-2 seconds it blows the fuse. Have done this twice, so must be something else...Capacitor, HV Diode, Magnetron or ???- Would appreciate any advice as to what to try and in which order?
