My son took the front off of the dryer. A blue wire was hanging loose which he reconnected to the drum (I assume it is a tub sensor wire). There are two wires (red & yellow) in the wiring bundle... |

If you have access to the floor joists it would be relatively easy to scab onto the existing floor joists for strength or to add more floor joists. Unless the floor itself is too thin or too weak... |

It is a very good looking unit. I can get a good used dryer for @ $150... or get a used motor for about $50. It matches the washer so we'll probably try to fix it. I've already got a re-stringing... |
