If that is the case would it be the element itself and if so can I replace that myself

Looking at the parts list I can't find a relay or contact that would turn burner on\off. This wouldn't be in the control\ potentiometer that is operated by the knob? I swapped the dual burner...

My smooth top right small dual heating element wont turn off. Would it be the element itself or something else.
