My guess is the belt tentioner is bad, replace it with whirlpool part#691366 which has a roller on it, You will never have to replace it again!!!!

If the heater stays on ALL THE TIME, The problem is either the cycling thermostat, or the heater is grounded to the heater can!!!! NOT THE HIGH LIMIT THERMOSTAT. Be careful, your looking for a FIRE...

The other thing that came to mind is what brand of detergent are you using and are you using a rinse agent??? I would like to know if this came on all at once or slowly? Thanks:)

How HOT is the water? Don't guess!!! Whats the temp after it fills with water. If its not at LEAST 120-130 degrees it won't work as well as it could:D

Need Defrost Timer install help
I think if you read the paper work that came with the timer, you will see where the directions talk about a RED wire in the harness going to the timer. If yours has a red wire, connect the loose wire...
