Whirlpool washer won't spin on rinse cycle or high spin
check your gear case too. check for leaking oil. if it is leaking oil you need to replace the transmission and the clutch. do you smell like a burning rubber smell or smoke?

Frigidare front load washer will not spin durning final spin cyle
check the wiring connection to latch assy. since you said it was shaking , the wiring might be loose check th e switch sensor on your latch assy too.
