I'll check all the wires for damage and for loose ports. Thanks So is there any way to test if the timer is bad and giving a screwy signal? Yes I'm using the capacitor to jump it. |

So this part is what I'm attaching my cord with alligator clips to. I just found the correct little prong that made the motor turn on. Does this change what you think the problem could? Thanks Erik |

So the motor is completely unhooked from everything except the power cord that goes up to the washer timer, the pump drive and transmission are unhooked and the motor is free from all drive parts.... |

My Maytag washer motor is really loud and trips the thermal switch, when hooked to the washer power source (and unhooked from the transmission and drive assembly) but when I move it to an alternate... |
