This is the window AC unit of 8K btu. It was made in 2003. It works fine. But when the temprature is about to reach, it generates a huge vibration. When I remove the cover, I can see the vibration of the compressor. This vibration generates the huge noise. It becomes louder and louder. Then the compressor shuts off. But the fan is still running. After that even if I lower the temprature setting, the compressor won't start immediately. It will start it by itself later.

The compressor is making that noise because the compressor motor mounts are too tight. Back the motor mounts off till the compressor is floating. problem solved.
