window a/c will not cool when outside temp. drops to 65. This seems to be built in to the unit at the factory. I want to know how to circumvent this so I can get the unit to run when I want it to. Can anyone help?

The unit can't reject heat to the outdoors if the indoor is the same temp as the outdoor. What temp is it inside when you are trying this?

How does a Window AC unit work?
