I just fixed my Select State or AO Smith water heater. The unit was cut off for few seconds or few minutes. I kept unplugged and plugged in order to get some hot water. The unit has a green and AB yellow error code(system lock out). I called the manufacture. They sent me a email included the procedure for cleaning the sensor that sit next to the ignitor. I cleaned the metal rod sensor, but the problem was still. I did drill a different hole and moved the rod sensor and the ignitor closed to the gas burner assembly. now the heater work every time .
