Trane xe90 has stopped at the station
Model Number: Trane xe90 Brand: -other- Age: 5 - 10 years
Gents,
Furnace issue encountered on first turn on. When switched on, the exhaust fan runs for a few seconds, but then kicks off and the blower starts. No action from the igniter and the gas does not appear to come on as I an not smelling anything. I removed the exhaust fan and checked the pipe and it is clear. Filter is clean. I also started the unit with the fan out and it ran fine, w/o stopping, although I did not let it go long as I did not want the gas turning on. The blinker in the bottom in blinking 9 times, indicating a "check igniter" based on the info inside the panel. I cleaned it as well as the thermocouple with a soft brush. I get no glow of the igniter stick when switched on. Thanks in advance for the help. Ads By Google Related Models
