Trane xl80 furnace no heat
Brand: Roper Age: More than 10 years
Furnace will work most of time. Then notice temp in house dropping. took front of furnace off the led on control box is flashing at a steady slow pace, the vent blower is blowing but the ignitor strip does not come on. If I turn the system off at the thermostat wait a few seconds and turn back on the vent blower runs, the ignitor strip lights up, the burners light for a bout 2 seconds then go out. this happens 3times the the burners stay lit. i believe this is normal? heating the flame sensor(thermocouple) then burners stay on. the furnace will then work for a day or so then smae scenario. Any help?
