I have the LG LP090CED-Y8 and it will not turn back on after it cools the room to the desired temp. set on the unit. I have tried different temps. and nothing. The power remains on and if I change the temp. setting it will turn right back on but quit when it reaches the temp., it just does not come back on.

What do you think it could be???

If this unit is like the one I think it is, and if you have a remote control unit mounted on a wall, then it might be the remote sending unit. You might have to reprogram it. Do you still have the instruction manual? I think there is a master unit switch located on the wiring harness under the unit cover. Turn it off, unplug unit from outlet and then reverse what you did.
