I have a Magtag Dehumidifier -- age unknown. Model No. M7DH45B2A*A S/N ER 950616 125W
The unit runs - fan runs, but no water in the tank. Coils are clean and no visible signs of rust, damage, etc. Not sure of age or if it is worth repairing. The model no did not come up on the website search.

Make sure its 70 degrees outside and at least 70% humidity and bring it in and turn it on low and get the thermistor used to the environment for at least 24 hours. does the compressor come on? if not check the capacitor or the thermistor or temperature switch.It may be possible you may have a de-icing switch that went bad.
