Our central air won't cool it kicks on and the fan kicks on but it's not cooling. We replaced the capacitor about two months ago and now it is doing the same thing again. Any ideas?

Sounds like you need freon and see after it is charged up if it holds and there are no leaks in the system. you will need a compound gauge and you must be certified to add the freon.

We had the freon check and it is at a good level and no leaks. My husband went out and did the manual start on the fan it made a weird noise and then it worked like it was suppose to. Can stuff get caught in the fan and make it not work properly?

Possability and or the wiring may have a short?

Sounds like a whole different issue, check the fan motor maybe?

Two simple factors you might try is to substitute the narrow and fresh the outside and inside rings. I've seen this improve the performance of techniques by 50%.

To discover out if your main air device is functional, convert the program on and take a good temperature gauge (I use a food preparation thermometer) and position it in the come back release (the release going to your furnace).
