Model Number: AP3783991 Brand: Broan Age: More than 10 years
I just ordered and received 2 new motors for my 32-year-old Broan 162B bathroom fans (Broan part #99080145). I noticed that the new motors each have a plastic tie around the back outside metal ring of the motor (the round ring that holds the back end of the drive shaft) with a small, white felt pad attached under the tie and sticking out above the motor. The old motors didn't have that. Are the plastic tie and the felt pad to stay in place after installation? And, if so, am I supposed to do anything with the felt pad?
Thank you very much for your help! Tom Walters tomwalters@msn.com Ads By Google Related Models |
