Very Annoying Room Air Condition Noise
Model Number: 580.76081700 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
The unit is 2 years old. When the unit kicks into cool mode there is a clinging noise that lasts for about 30 seconds. It literally sounds like a small pebble or something is hitting the fan constantly , but I checked inside and see nothing. This happens EVERY time the unit goes into cool mode. Also, when I turn off the unit it makes the noise again as the fan slows down. Strangely, there is no noise at all on the FAN setting.
