a/c motor replacement

a/c motor replacement

Brand: -other- Age: 5 - 10 years

the blower motor went out on the inside unit of my heil a/c. the motor was a 3/4 hp 1120 rpm unit. the tech replaced it with a 1/3 hp. i'm happy to have my a/c back. but now the unit will not cut off until i adjust the temp on the thermostat. it cools fine but i dont think its enough to bring the temp down in a timely fashion. would this make that kind of difference
