I am trying to find help with replacing/cleaning the fan motor of our Buck Stove insert. I can not find the parts breakdown anywhere. I do not know how to get to the motor.

I assume you have already gone to the Buck Stove website.
They will at least be able to supply you with a local dealer and perhaps they can help you over the phone. There is a fair amount of info there but take a bit of hunting.

On most inserts the bottom vent panel either un-clips or is hinged (usually hinged). This gives you access under the stove and you should see the fan.

Sometimes they are a pain to get at requiring long arms and stubby tools.

Note if the problem is that your fan is not running they are often fused also you probably have a rheostat to control the fan speed.

Buck Stove Parts Store :: Blowers, Motors & Motor Assemblies :: Model 51

Just a side note: I see the model listed with a ZC. I hope this is not installed into a factory built "zero clearance" fireplace. Please advise.

I do not know. That is beyond my scope of knowledge. What do I need to look for.

Is it brick and mortar or a steel firebox? If it is a steel firebox, does it have 4 air ducts--two high/ two low? Is there a metal rating plate identifying the mfr.?
