Hi, I recently purchased the Whirlpool Whispure AP250 (AP25030K) and will see whether I can return/exchange it. I've had it for two days. It was working perfectly until around 1:30 am when I was awakened by it making a clunking noise while rotating. Now it makes the same loud noise whether it's on low or hi when it used to be really smooth and quiet for the former and the air output is next to nothing on any setting when it used to be fair on the former and very strong on the latter. Nothing happened. The unit was not moved. Nothing fell into the unit. Nothing obscured it. I'm using a grounded three prong outlet. When I turned off the unit and unhinged the front panel, I felt the motor and it was hot, but that was about it. Any troubleshooting suggestions? Please help.

ooh, it's too bad. Do you think use another air purifier?
