Heat pump motor running slow

Model Number: AR30-1 Brand: -other- Age: 5 - 10 years

The motor is like 3 years old, i wake up one morning and it smells like a burned wire. so i shut the unit off,. today i turn it back on and the motor is running slow and no smell. I also check for any burn wires and the capacitor and all look fine. the motor has 3 wires, can someone help me?
