I need the 5 position control switch. This model number does not come up on the data base. I purchased the switch that was recommended but it does not fit and there are 5 male wire connections on the back. My old switch has only 4 connections. I need a new switch because the post is broken off mine.

Your correct, not only does that model number (ACV124PK2) not appear in our parts screens or technical data base, it is also not available in any Whirlpool literature as well.

If you're positive about the model number, you may need to contact the manufacturer, for parts assistance.
