gas FP pilot
Model Number: ED4540CNM Brand: -other- Age: 5 - 10 years
gas FP not lighting. has elec ignition. investigation found insulation burned off right below ceramic ignitor, so spark was arcing between wire & thermocouple. i pulled ign. wire away from th-cpl. and spark is lighting pilot every time now. ? is there some type of heat resistant i
insulation i can put around wire to prevent arcing? Have reinsulated ign. wire, now get spark every time when tested but no spark when attempting to light pilot. Ads By Google Related Models Last edited by terrence l. thomas : 01-19-2011 at 10:02 PM. Reason: new info
