my 50 gallon water heater stopped working,i replaced the thermal coupling but pilot is still not turning on.
what could be the problem?
gas supply is good.

the water heater is GE and the model number is GG30T6XA, and is a 30 gallon tank,not a 50 gallon.

GE is a pain in the a** for tech info, however look at the trouble shooting charts here and see if any help. http://www.statewaterheaters.co...m/res-Gas/186589-001.pdf sorry my background is oil since gas company did not supply us on board ship. :)
