I replaced the gas valve on my Teledyne Laars EPG 175 pool heater about a year ago, it worked fine. Now when you light the unit it almost blows up and blows out the pilot. If the door is off, it shoots fire a couple feet out the door. Sounds dangerous to me. The unit has always seemed to have too much gas going to the pilot as the flame will come outside the burner area. Is the gas valve adjustable? Any ideas what the problem is? Thanks Doug
