Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com
My 3 year old central air unit is having problems. It has one furnace/AC unit with dual zones (thermostats upstairs and down). When the AC starts up the outside compressor starts right up but the main furnace/blower unit kicks on and off about 6 to 8 times before it stays on (on for a second or two, off for a second or two). I'm told it could be a relay switch. Any other ideas? If it is a relay switch can a handy guy replace it himself?

Sounds like a voltage problem. Check the relay coil connections for 24V.
